Clubs and extra-curriculum

At Long Close we place great importance on discovering and fostering every child’s individual talents.

At different times throughout the Academic Year the children at school can choose from a wide variety of clubs and activities. These range from drama, computer skills, dance, Dhol, gym, Bookworms, and cookery to sports such as netball, football and judo. In addition we offer library and homework clubs.

Many Long Close pupils participate in fundraising activities whilst others take pride in entering local competitions and examinations. Seasonal activities allow the children to take pleasure in sharing their interests and experiences in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
