From those crucial early years in the Little Close Nursery through to GCSE, Long Close Long Close offers something special to the pupils in our care.
With a 79% pass rate for the 11+ through to Grammar Schools, outstanding SATs results (84% Level 5 in Literacy) and excellent GCSE results, Long Close seeks to maximise the potential of each pupil in the classroom, on the Games Field or in the Arts.
At Long Close, Academic rigour is combined with a broad based curriculum where young minds are enriched and the learning tools for life discovered. Success comes from a belief in deep seated values that are discussed and acted upon.
As Head Teacher I know each and every child in my care and take an active personal interest in their learning development, teaching them English, Drama and Games and sharing with them their passions and successes!
