11+ & Common Entrance Examinations

Year 6 Examinations 2010 to 2011
Year 6 is a real educational milestone for the pupils. Many are subject for the first time to the pressures of public examinations. Most of the pupils took 11+ examinations to the local grammar schools, several of them took Common Entrance examinations toIndependentSeniorSchooland all of them took internal end of Key Stage 2 SATs examinations recently. They coped extremely well and the success rate between them this year has been phenomenal.
I am proud to report to you the following successes:
11+ Examination
- 86% of the pupils passed 11+
Common Entrance
- 100% of the pupils who took Common Entrance examinations passed
- Gurnoor Sumra was awarded a Scholarship to Hampton
SATs (national average at the end of Year 6 is Level 4)
English:
- 100% of the class achieved Level 4 and above
- 92% of the class achieved Level 5 and above
Mathematics:
- 100% of the class achieved Level 4 and above
- 40% of the class achieved Level 5 and above
- 3 pupils achieved KS3 Level 6 and are currently working at Level 7
Science:
- 100% of the class achieved Level 4 and above
- 69% of the class achieved Level 5 and above
Very well done to all the pupils in Year 6! We are very proud of you and we wish those who are leaving every success, and we also looking forward to furthering the achievements of those pupils who will remain with us in Year 7.
