- The programme is available to existing parents of Long Close School and relates to new pupils who are introduced to and join take up a place at the school before 30th September 2012.
- Parents / pupils who are introduced under this scheme must not have had prior contact with the school nor have siblings in place at the school.
- The “introducer ‘reward’ of £150 will be credited to the recommending parent’s account at the end of the first full school term, following the new pupils term and year of entrance.
- The new pupil reward will be discounted from the first term’s fees due at the beginning of the new school year, following the pupil’s entrance term and year.
- The new pupil will need to satisfy the normal entrance requirements and stay for a full school year.
- This offer is only applicable to prospective pupils who have not previously enquired at the School.
- The School will ask all new prospective parents if they are enquiring or visiting as the direct result of a referral. They must inform us at this point that they have been referred. The Registrar will then write to the parent who has made the recommendation and advise them that in the event of the new pupil joining the School, and staying the full school year, their account will be credited by £150 or a donation made to the chosen school charity.
- Unfortunately any pupils who have already visited the school or been accepted for places in the next academic year will not qualify.
- This offer is subject to a place being available in the required year group.
- To qualify for this offer, the form must be completed and returned to the School at the initial enquiry stage. The School will not accept recommendations handed in retrospectively following a school visit or enrolment.
- The initiative will be reviewed at the end of each school term.
- No cash alternative will be offered
- Should a parent elect to make a charitable donation, then LCS will recompense the Charity following the pupil’s term and year of entrance.
