 Latest SIS Inspection Report

Our latest inspection report notes: “Long Close School is ‘outstanding in all areas’. That means the quality of education we offer is outstanding. The personal development of our pupils is outstanding. The way we safeguard our children’s welfare, health and safety is outstanding. The way we lead, manage and govern the school is outstanding.

Beyond Long Close

We see to it that all of them take part in a work experience programme to help them understand the kind of responsibility and discipline required for them to achieve success; we provide them with specialist leadership training to match the kind of roles we expect many of our pupils to go on and perform; and we organise trips to outside events where pupils, for example, spend the day with experts in a particular industry, or engage in product design and development.
