Review of Senior Girls’ trip to watch Thriller Live!

On Friday 3rd February, the Senior girls attended a live show performance of Thriller Live! at The Lyric Theatre in Piccadilly Circus. With a range of girls from Years 7-11 we experienced an outstanding performance, which ‘thrilled’ us all from beginning to end. We began our evening taking the trains into Piccadilly where we first stopped off at Pizza Express. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and used it as a time to bring all the girls together. From there we moved onto entering the theatre and taking our seats. Throughout the two hours, we witnessed the cast capture every detail of the spirit of Michael Jackson as a performer – his music will forever and always remain timeless. Jackson’s great pop music was performed by a live band and vocalists, supported by an astonishing dance company. A few particular favourites for the Long Close girls were, ‘The way you make me feel’, ‘Bad’ and, of course, ‘Thriller’ – all of which they had learnt dance routines to in past games lessons. On behalf of all of the Senior girls, we would like to say a massive thank you to Mrs Collet and Miss Malocca for the time and effort they put into making this trip one to remember. We cannot show enough gratitude towards them.  Thank you!!
