Year 5 pupils enjoy Shakesperean experience in Stratford-upon-Avon
Today, our Year 5 pupils visited Stratford-upon-Avon and learnt all about Shakespeare’s life. The children took part in various activities including writing with quills, Tudor shopping, studying real Tudor coins and naming artefacts from the era. Later we visited Anne Hathaway’s Cottage, where he was born, and we then walked to Hall’s Croft – a large Tudor building where Shakespeare’s son-in-law practised medicine. The pupils had a fantastic time and learnt a huge amount from the trip.
